The story

When founder Adam Yong started SEO work in 2005, Google was still mostly about blue links and keyword density. By the time he founded Adam SEO in 2011, Panda had arrived and the industry was beginning its long shift from tactics to actual quality. The agency has stayed close to the frontier through every algorithm change — Penguin, Hummingbird, RankBrain, BERT, Helpful Content, the AI-search expansion of 2024 — and kept its methodology honest.

The 4-Stage / 9-Step Framework that powers every Adam SEO engagement was formalised after repeated client work showed the same pattern: SEO alone does not convert organic traffic into revenue. You need Conversion Rate Optimization integrated from day one, not bolted on after the fact. The framework was designed around that integration.

Since September 2025, the framework includes AEO / GEO (Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization) as a core deliverable in every tier — not a premium upcharge. AI search is where attention is going; our clients' entity profiles are ready for it.

Adam Yong founded Adam SEO in 2011 after six years in the trenches of SEO work that began in 2005. He has navigated every major Google algorithm update — from Panda and Penguin to Helpful Content and the 2024 AI-search shift — and built the 4-Stage / 9-Step SEO Framework that Adam SEO uses today. His focus is on revenue-aligned SEO: ranking clients for the searches that pay, not the ones that look good in reports. On Elite-tier engagements Adam delivers the monthly strategy call personally.
